I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 30's. It has totally changed my life. Explained a lot of my "quirks" and gave me an explanation for a lot of my failures.
It's not an excuse, instead, it's something I can work on. I have researched and worked hard to educate myself. I will do my best to help you too!
I have found that there were lots of things that were actually making my symptoms worse!

I was diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder around the age of 20.
When I was labeled "Bi-Polar", I remember thinking, "that's why no one wants me around for long... they must see the switch flip and want to get away from me!"

My depression can come out of nowhere. I will be fine, feel very blessed, but can't seem to get out of bed or cry a lot. It's truly the worst!
I wish I could tell you I had that magic trick or treatment, but I don't. I literally battle it every season.
